  • This service is for any fiction work that exceeds 10,000 words.

    $.003 per word

Short Story Copyedit

  • This includes any fiction work under 10,000 words.

    $.002 per word.

Academic Essay Edit

  • This service is for copyedits on academic essays. Please note, only arts and humanities papers. I work with either Chicago Manual of Style or MLA.

    I check your grammar, punctuation, syntax, spelling local to where you are, citations, and more.

How it Works

1) Fill out the copyediting project form. This gives me an idea of what you want from your project, so I can help you with your specific goals. There’s also room for additional comments and concerns.

2) I will receive the form and reach out within three business days. If I’m able to take on the project and feel like I can help you, I’ll get in contact with

3) A 50% deposit is required before I begin working. The other 50% is due after I submit my edits.

Prices

My prices are per word and very by project length. If you don’t think your project fits my guidelines, feel free to include that in the copyediting project form or initial email.

.004 per word >80,000 words

What do I get?

Each job includes two rounds of editing and an additional round of proofreading (if required). If you do not already have a style sheet, I will make you one.

What kind of work do you accept?
